Penn High School provides FRC (FIRST Robotics Challenge) for all
students. Members are faced with an ultimate challenge: how to build and
program an industrial-size robot, fundraise our yearly budget, and
provide STEM opportunities to youth in our community.
FIRST Lego League is offered for elementary and middle school
students. Students learn problem-solving skills, engage in hands-on
STEM experiences, and completes challenges using LEGOs.
FIRST Tech Challenge is offered for freshmen and sophomore high
school students. Students will design, build, program, and control
robots to compete in a challenge.
FIRST Robotics Competiton is offered for junior and senior high
school students. Students will be faced with an ultimate challenge,
experience how to build and program an industrial-size robot, raise
funds, and much more.
Currently, two teams are under the name of Penn Robotics.
Since 1997, Team 135 has been apart of FIRST Robotics for 25 years. Consisting of mainly juniors and seniors, they use
over 25 years of growing knowledge, 135 uses their skills to inspire and impact their community.
They are student-driven with the generous help of their coaches and mentors.
Founded in 2022, Team 328 is tailored to freshmen and sophomores and aims to prepare them for the upcoming challenge ahead. Using the assistance and knowledge from Team 135, Team 328 hones their skills to prepare for when the students become juniors and seniors, and join Team 135!
